Description:
- Point out to the players that one of the ways to demonstrate caring is to volunteer to do things for other people. Ask the team to brainstorm different things they can do for other people. (Examples: rake leaves, mow lawns, wash cars, carry groceries, etc.)
- Encourage each team member to volunteer for one hour during the season and bring a note verifying they did it. At the final practice or game, ask each player to tell about their volunteer experience.
