1. Talk about the importance of respecting the officials with your team. Ask them to share ways they think that they should show appreciation to the officials. Following each game, have each of the players shake the officials' hands and thank them for officiating the game. An alternative would be to appoint one player at each game to thank the officials and shake their hands.
