PURPOSE: To establish house valuesEXPLANATION: In general, good people come from good families. A good family teaches values not only by what they say, but also by what they do. This exercise will build upon our last values exercise. In this exercise we will establish house values which the family will sign-off on.

 

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Get last weeks values exercise out.

2. From last weeks values exercise determine the 5 most important values. Remember, these are values you will all have to live with, so everyone should agree on them. The 5 you agree on will be your house rules. Make sure you prioritize according to the golden rule.

3. Have all members of the family sign their name on the bottom of the sheet and post it on the refrigerator. Refer to it when the opportunity presents itself.

Remember: Golden Rule - Do unto others as you would have them do unto you!
