PURPOSE: - have a family Firedrill.- Walk down by the river.- go to the Zoo.To think of creative things to do as a family.

MATERIALS: Pencil or pen, refrigerator magnet or bulletin board.

This is a good activity to do with the whole family after dinner or before bedtime.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Explain that you enjoy doing things as a family but need some ideas.

2. On a piece of paper write letters from the alphabet with a line next to each. Come up with a creative family activity that starts with each letter of the alphabet. Write the idea next to the letter.

Examples:

· W

· Z

3. Post the ideas on the refrigerator or on the family bulletin board.

4. As the family does the activities circle the letter to show which activities have been done. Step 4 may take quite some time but see if you can circle every letter.
